we are

The name ties into the concept of bread, specifically shokupan. In Cantonese, “Chu” (豬) means piggy—a symbol of fortune and cuteness. Founders Wilson and Sara first envisioned Japanese sandos in 2018 and brought that vision to life in 2019. Their love for Japanese cuisine, especially Tokyo street food, inspired them to recreate those authentic flavors using fresh, local ingredients. At the heart of their sandwiches are two essential elements that define their signature offering.
